Request data deletion
CYDI - Can You Draw It? · playcydi.com and the CYDI Android app
This page explains how to ask us to delete data about you held by CYDI - Can You Draw It?, the drawing game at playcydi.com and on Google Play. CYDI has no user accounts: there is no sign-up, login or password, and no account to close.
How to request deletion
- Email usSend an email to privacy@playcydi.com with the subject “CYDI data deletion request”.
- Include your Privacy Request IDIn the game, open Settings and copy your Privacy Request ID into the email. Because there are no accounts, it is the only thing that lets us find your Daily Challenge leaderboard entries.
- Add any share linksIf you want a share link removed before it expires on its own, include its complete URL.
We will reply from the same address to confirm what we found and deleted.
What we can delete
- Daily Challenge leaderboard entries linked to your Privacy Request ID: your display name, your scores and any unclaimed prizes.
- Share links you identify by their complete URL. Otherwise they expire automatically after 180 days.
What cannot be singled out
- Analytics records and statistics. They contain no name, player ID or contact details, so they cannot be matched to a person or to your Privacy Request ID. Individual event records are deleted automatically after about 3 months; what remains is aggregate totals.
- The random installation and session numbers the app uses to count distinct players are not linked to your Privacy Request ID or to anything that identifies you, so we cannot find yours from a request.
- Play Together rooms are deleted automatically 30 minutes after the last player leaves.
- Advertising data collected by Google's ads SDK in the Android app is controlled by Google (how Google uses advertising data). You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
Data on your device
Your progress, coins and settings are stored on your own device, not by us. You can delete them at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android settings, uninstalling the app, or clearing this site's data in your browser.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy, sections 5 (Data Retention) and 6 (Your Rights & Choices).
